Escape the ‘green way, the Organic ‘Orchard Garden Hotel’

Commenter - Eddy, thanks for your words, and yes, I believe if you wanted to label me I’d be an alpha female. The alpha male testing part, I guess that’d have a ring of truth to it also. None else of what you wrote is nothing I haven’t thought of or tried to sort out, but I appreciate the helpful sentiment. The pic is me, I’m working on a new one, you can decide for yourself if I’m good-lookin’ or not, doesn’t hurt my feelings either way. Historically men who are attracted to me are out of the ordinary (in some way) alpha males who feel my mega-alphaness, my looks may play a role…or not. Once they’re in, they’re in regardless…

OK…and for today…

I am waiting to leave on an appointment and had a few minutes and started thinking about my need for space right now, my need to travel, be somewhere else, anywhere else really and suddenly in my ‘in box’ was a link to this hotel…hmmm…the universe if conversing with me telepathically and via my computer now, and, I like it ; )

I could deal with this room for a day or two: room service…send me a jumbo shrimp cocktail and a chilled pitcher of dry Kettle One martini’s pronto per favore, oh yes, and a bottle of sparkling water also. Do NOT offer me wake up calls!

No phone calls either…

Maybe I should hide away at that cave hide-away hotel in Turkey I wrote about a while ago, you know, have an adventure, find my grail or something…

Maybe Two Bunch Palms would work better, it’s closer : )

I used to live in Palm Springs, so I know Two Bunch Palms in DHS. As a great tool for going “green”, there are a lot of ways that responsible citizens can help to reduce damage to the earth – and ourselves in the long run. One easy thing is to pick “green” accommodations when available, not just those who say they’re doing something, but those who actually are. You can do this through a website I’ve run across recently, iStayGreen.org, where you not only locate green hotels, but rate them, which puts pressure on hoteliers to do as much as they can to be well rated.

Uniquely, the site features a social networking system, so groups with like interests can get together, advise each other and exchange information. It’s about time something like http://www.iStayGreen.org came along.
